Pilates with Rachel Reed

An event every week that begins at 6:15 pm on Monday, repeating until December 26, 2022
Rachel started practicing yoga at Yoga Synergy in 2000 and pilates in 2001.
She holds a double degrees from the University of Queensland: Bachelor of Human Movement Studies & Bachelor of Commerce.
As a CPA qualified accountant she spent 15 years working in finance for international firms. A long-term debilitating back condition lead her to discover yoga and pilates, and after attending many workshops, seminars and courses, she ultimately embarked on a new career path. After a further 15 years working in the pilates and fitness fields, Rachel is now combining both her financial and wellness backgrounds.
Rachel has been instructing pilates since 2005 and gained full Studio Certification in 2008. She attended the Yoga Synergy Teacher Training program in 2015 and is also qualified in Garuda Foundation Matwork, Yamuna Foundation Body Rolling, TRX Suspension Training, is a certified Lagree Instructor.
What brings Rachel joy is to be able to facilitate others to connect with their body and inner selves, and to discover and improve the strength, control and balance that we all have.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A group class including small apparatus, challenges your core to work on your balance whilst strengthening and lengthening the muscles.
The perfect class for getting in contact with your body, working with all aspects of fitness whilst being mindful of the nervous system and myofascial release.
Class duration is 90 minutes.
The evening classes will conclude with calming the nervous system.
Suitable for all fitness levels.
*Those with special conditions (eg spinal injuries) require medical clearance. If pregnant, only those in first trimester and with pilates experience are able to attend.
