At the heart
Our kitchen is the heart of our space here at Loft & Earth. We enjoy seeing it being used by passionate and wise chefs and cooks, people who have a true love of food and those that want to share their knowledge with others.
Our kitchen overlooks a large dining area so that everyone in attendance can see what is being prepared at the kitchen bench by a large mirror that reflects the food preparation, back to the participants.
We welcome many food styles
Many of the chefs and cooks in the Loft & Earth kitchen are people who have a background in food styles that support well-being; Ayurveda, Macrobiotics, Raw foods, Healthy Japanese foods, etc. We welcome nutritionists, naturopaths, personal trainers and those darn good cooks who ‘live’ to share their knowledge. Whether the theme be with an emphasis on savoury or sweet, meat or plant based foods, the heart of Loft & Earth is inclusive of cross cultural, deliciously tasting food as well as fun approaches to cooking.
So if you have something that you consider worthy, why not hold your next food event or cooking class with us!
Our fully equipped kitchen has enough room for your participants to join in as they help to create the dishes at the front and back benches of our kitchen. Everyone can see and be fully engaged in your cooking demonstration. People sit close enough to hear your stories, insights and follow along as the food is prepared and cooked.
Once you book your date and time with us, place your posters on our noticeboards both up and downstairs to advertise. Let people know about your event through our online calendar newsletter.

Hire times:
Morning 8.30 am – 12:30 pm
Afternoon 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Evening 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm
*Covid-19 update: Following the 2 person per 4 square metre rule, the kitchen and dining room can hold up to 16 people total.
